Workshop on Savanasa with Lia - the ultimate asana

Workshop on Savanasa with Lia - the ultimate asana

Saturday December 29th //  3pm-6pm

You are invited to learn about and practice the most difficult asana in Yoga

-LETTING Go of LIFE as we know IT-

The ultimate asana:
Savasana:(Sanskrit)
Corpse pose (Translation)

As a student in the practices of yoga, I have always loved Savasana. The experience of being guided into relaxation has been a high point of each class, unless of course I was thinking obsessively about something. When that happened, I became restless, wishing the moment to pass. It felt long, arduous and the wish to be out of there actually manifested.
How? My body was on the mat but I wasn’t.
As a teacher, Savasana is one of highlights for me. As I observe the participants relaxing and letting go, I do too, and the room takes on another vibration of love and stillness, even if there is music playing. There are people who leave or stay put, wriggling in discomfort either physically or mentally.
Savasana is the most challenging asana of them all!
How can total relaxation be so hard?
Well, we have been conditioned to believe that to make an effort is how we shall succeed in life, but how much is the right amount of effort? Is it a full time job?
In order to balance the effort we need a gentle practice leading to Savasana in order to bring us back to zero. For some, the place of letting go is terrifying, and this is understandable. One needs earth and courage to trust.
Please join me in this safe place to share a beautiful experience of letting go.
This is a workshop for everyone, and you will take home some simple and effective tools.
Always be You.

With love and blessings always,
Lea (Lila)
