About Rocket Yoga
Rocket Ashtanga Vinyasa was born in San Francisco  in the early 90’s, it was developed by Larry Schultz, a long term student of pattabhi Jois. The style presents challenging asanas from the intermediate and  advanced Ashtanga series in an accessible way to practitioners. It is a fun and challenging flow with focus on handstands and arm-balances, as well as heart and hip openers.

This Workshop
Leon and maayan will welcome you to the world of Rocket. This Immersion is for those intermediate or advanced practitioners, with 3 Masterclasses and 2 workshops, there will be an emphasis on the graceful flow and floating aspects of the practice, eliminating heavy landings and bumpy transitions.
In the workshops we will work with pranayamas, energetic locks and physical techniques to get you to fly through your sequence and bring a sense of ease to your practice. We will also look at inversions like pincha, arm-balancing, and handstands and make the accessible to all.

About the teachers
Leon London is a senior Rocket Vinyasa teacher; a former boxing and capoeira instructor. He now teaches yoga workshops and retreats all over Europe, sharing his knowledge of the practice and years of experience with physical culture in a fun and engaging way. Leon has studies with David Swenson, and David Kyle, and has practiced with Kino Macgregor, Patrick Beach, Danny Paradise, Doug Swenson,David Robson and Simon- Olivier Bourg.

Maayan Shenhar is an Ashtanga and Rocket inspired teacher. Her natural sense of empathy creates a real kind and joyful fun experience in her classes. Known for her love for creating space in the heart center (anahata). Maayan believes that letting go into a deeper asana can only happen with care and attention from the teacher and practitioner alike.  Maayan has been practicing ashtanga since she was 17, and has studied with Caroline Celeb, Stephanie Quirk, and David Swenson.
